Gold ring appeared in the T-5 of necropolis Vía Púnica 36.

This ring appeared inside the skull of the individual from the tomb # 5 of necropolis Vía Púnica 36 (for more information, please review the article about Vía Púnica 36 necropolis in this blog: http://iboshimarcheology.blogspot.com.es/2013/03/roman-necropolis-in-ibiza-via-punica-36.html). The presence of the ring at inside of the skull due to postmortem taphonomic process, moving there from its original location that should be in the mouth or on one eye, ritual practice common in the religious conceptions of the afterlife in antiquity: for example, the coins for the ferryman Charon in the Greek world. The ring is gold and has three circular stones: two ruby and an emerald.
